The assignment for SAREK goes all the way from creating the brand platform, logotype, and visual identity, to create a store concept for outdoor enthusiasts and those who want to spend more time close to nature. The feeling was based on a unique customer experience, where competence and education about outdoor living and its products were highlighted in an exciting new way.
We worked solution-oriented and with a strong focus on sustainability and concern for nature and the environment. Building materials from the demolition of existing walls were reused to create new walls and part of the interior and shopfitting were created from recycled and upcycled materials.
For example, shelves in the store were made from pre-coated high-density material (made from cut-offs from fabric industries). Walls were created from pallet collars, lampshades were made from old sheets, and all carpets were made from Econyl (made from plastic waste and discarded fishing nets).
The visual environment was enhanced with sound, light, and scent, enhancing the feeling of being close to nature.
